Outside

Conveniently located on major highway routes and close to the city of Coeur d’Alene, yet adjacent to National Forest lands with plenty of seclusion and privacy. Bring a boat or other personal watercraft , and enjoy the many opportunities on the lake. A concrete, state maintained boat launch and docking facility is located about 5 miles down the road at Carlin Bay that also includes a commercial gas dock. There is overflow parking about 100 feet up the road, adjacent to our property, for boat trailers and extra guests. There is a hot tub on the lower deck that affords fun for the kids by day, and adult relaxation into the evening. A gas barbecue is located on the upper deck for your use. The entire property around the house is chain link fenced for safety to young children, with a lawn area for games. The beach area is very gradual, although not sandy, so aqua-socks on the feet of small children is best. However, most people spend their time on the newly surfaced, 600 sq. ft. dock. The dock is 50 ft. long on one side and 33 ft. long on the other, and 22 ft. long at the deep end; plenty of room to moor a large boat or sailboat, or several watercraft. A handicap accessible tram has been installed. The tram starts at the parking lot and extends to the main deck, ending at the level of the lower deck. No need to haul your stuff up and down the hillside.

Inside

Dishes, silverware, glassware and all your cooking utensils and cookware are supplied. Napkins and other paper products for use in the house are supplied. Appliances include washer and dryer, refrigerator and freezer with ice maker, Jennaire range, mixer, blender, toaster, micowave oven, garbage disposal, popcorn popper, coffeemaker, and a latte maker. There should also be salt, pepper, sugar and some seasonings, including some condiments in the refrigerator, but you may want to provide your own to your taste. The house is set up so that all you really need to bring is food and drinks, and your outdoor toys. Come prepared to relax on the lake and enjoy all that this setting in north Idaho has to offer.

There are 3 bedrooms. The one on the main floor is a master bedroom with a queen bed. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor; one with a queen bed and the third bedroom with two triple bunk beds--twin on top and double on bottom. Satellite television brings in over 150 channels, including over 100 sports channels, plus there is a DVD player. There are plenty of white bath and hand towels and washcloths. Bar and hand soap, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, Kleenex are all supplied. There is a washer and dryer with laundry soap supplied for linens and towels and clothes.

Terms:

The house rents on a 7 night, weekly basis during the peak vacation months of mid-June to mid-September. We rent from Saturday at 4 p.m. to the next Saturday at noon during these peak vacation months. No smoking and no pets of any kind, please. We would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
